Improve Cognitive Function

Increase cognitive function with Red Light Therapy.

We’ve all heard the term neurogenesis, yet what exactly does neurogenesis mean?  Red light therapy stimulates the regrowth of neurons, which is the process known as neurogenesis. The neuron is the basic working unit of the brain, a specialized cell designed to transmit information to other nerve cells, muscle, or gland cells. A healthy neuron provides faster transmission of information to the muscles and gland cells.

At close-range, red-light therapy also stimulates synaptogenesis, which is the formation of synapses between the neurons, which influences the brains natural ability to reorganize itself by forming new neural connections… this is called neuroplasticity. Essentially this means it allows the brain to make NEW connections, which sharpens brain function and allows access to new and old information.

Red light therapy is especially helpful in cases of TBI where cognitive functions have been impaired. The Red light therapy may be used as a comprehensive treatment program which includes behavioral and/or cognitive therapy.
